WOLVES:

Kind of like werewolves, Wolves are a very rare and noble race, whose purebred members had never been human. This race was the royal family's most loyal followers until the last King grew afraid of their power and had them hunted down. Wolves are more like wolves in the guise of a human; they are wild and very intelligent. Once you earn their trust their loyalty knows no bounds and they will fight to the death for you. The have three forms, their wolf form, which is like a larger than normal wolf; their Human form, which is like a normal human except metallic colored eyes with cat-like slit pupils and occassionaly clawed finger tips. The last form requires an extreme amount of power and control and is VERY rarely reached by any Wolf and that is their hybrid form which is a blend of the two basic shapes. Wolves were generally healers and warriors with a strict honor code. There are very few Purebreds left and if you want to create one you must have special permission from me.

Humans:

The most numerous race in Sumata. Rage hates humans with a passion and will not allow many in her service. Strangely enough her best friend was a human named Sarah. Humans can have small gifts or powers but nothing like the powers of Wolves or Elves. They can be of any alignment

Dragons:

These reptillian creatures can take the shape of a human or an elf as well as the larger form of a scaly, fire-breathing dragon. Dragons can be healers, warriors, priests and almost everything except assassins. Dragons usually have a sign of their reptillian nature on their humanoid forms such as; scales on their face or limbs, a long tongue, slit pupils, horns, or even wings. Dragons measure their power by how well they can shift their form. They also have different types of breath, although each dragon has only ONE ability. Some can breath freezing air, or actual fire, others have the breath of life, while others merely absorb life.

Elves:

Possibly one of the most powerful of the races, elves are nature lovers and generally on the side of good or neutral. The race, as a whole, does not approve of Rage's antics and have retreated into the forest to avoid the conflicts. Elves are expert archers and weapon masters, they usually have an animal Companion that represents their personality or abilties. For example an elf with a wolf as a Companion would be wild and distrusting of closed in spaces as well as probably traveling with other elves. In the same way an elf with a hawk as a Companion would be solitary and more inclined to far in the forests and prefer archery. Elves can be anything except priests because they don't really have beliefs.

Shapeshifters:

Mischevious demon like creatures, shapeshifters walk around in the guise of a human with very few physical quirks that give away their race. For example a shapeshifter who turns into a bird would have feathers at the base of their neck. Shapeshifters are powerful but very rarely actually do anything, they are the tricksters of Sumata and most approve of Rage's antics since the old king was persecuting them along with the Wolves. The difference between Wolves and shapeshifters is shapeshifters have THREE animal forms and although the may take the form of a wolf it doesn't come close to the second form of an actual Wolf. Also where Wolves have strict codes of honor and beliefs Shapeshifters have nothing. Shapeshifters are of any alliance although most follow Rage. They have a great sense of humor and loving playing games; often battle is a game for them and they can be extraodinarily cruel in their games.

Half-Breeds:

Depending on the mixture half breeds can be very weak or remarkably powerful. One of the most common half-breeds are elf/human although one that is still pretty common are Wolf/human pairings or Wolf/Shapeshifter. Many times the indivdual isn't aware that he is even a halfbreed until some kind of shock is given to him. Wolves and Shapeshifters are able to sense half-breeds as well as knowing what combination they are.

Sirens:
The Sirens <--- Pict
Sirens can be either male or female. A forgotten race, they are beautful and entrancing to the point where they can control the person's mind. They can breath underwater and water is their element, they are most skilled with poisons and blades, they are also one of the wisest creatures alive. Sirens will develope a large fish tail when they jump into water, they can control the change but they must be wet when they change. They are most powerful in this form.
All Siren's have the basic power to control you if you look into their eyes, but a few powerful individuals can bewitch by the power of their voice alone. This race is an ally of Rage, she lived and trained with them for years after her pack's demise. She has made a deal with the Siren's leader and gained their support as well as a form of their siren eyes. Her trade is possibly the way she could be defeated; if anyone could find out what it was.

Naeds:
Naeds <---- go here for a pict.
A creature similiar to the Sirens. This race is so old that they have been forgotten by all. Naeds live in the deep ocean caverns far away from interference from the 'lesser' races. They have a strong sense of honor and it is said that they were the original teachers of the Wolves. Naeds can change their form to come on land but they prefer not too. They feel strong dislike for the Siren of using their bodies and powers to seduce others; as such, they have chosen not to have the beautiful bodies and seductive powers of the Siren. Instead they have much more fearsome powers; dispite their fearsome appearance, Naeds are gentle creatures and can be trusted. In fact, they are the Siren's opposites.

2009-05-27 [Lirerial]: Yes I am, but this is all under construction so I'm having to do a little everytime I log on because I don't have the time to just sit and do it all at once...or the patience lol

2009-05-27 [Gypsy Mystik]: okay... I'll wait to see what you put about the Elves in your game ^_^
